REDLG
Financial assistance is available through the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant Program (REDLG). Resources below provide additional information regarding these programs.
REVOLVING LOAN FUND
Northeast Power, on behalf of its member electric cooperatives, has established a Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) through the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Economic Development Grant program. The purpose of this fund is to help create jobs and build the rural economy in both northeast Missouri and southeast Iowa.
Businesses and non-profit entities, including cities and counties, are eligible to apply for a loan from the RLF. Eligible projects include any community or economic development project that benefits the local region. This includes business start-up and expansion efforts as well as capital expenditures for needed community facilities by non-profit organizations or governmental agencies.
For more information, please access the Revolving Loan Fund brochure below or contact Allie Bennett, Manager of Economic Development and Member Services.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Northeast Power Economic Development Scholarship Program provides matching scholarships, usually 50%, for attending economic development training or education. Anyone directly involved in the development of any part of Northeast Power's service area is eligible.
